Terms of Service

Last updated: March 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DeskPilot ("Service"), a Slack-integrated AI support automation product operated by DeskPilot ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing DeskPilot in your Slack workspace or by using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

1. Service Description

DeskPilot is an AI-powered help desk bot for Slack. It automatically learns from your workspace's historical support conversations, builds a knowledge base, and autonomously resolves incoming support tickets — without manual setup by you or your team.

2. Account Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
  • You must have authority to install applications in your Slack workspace on behalf of your organization.
  • The Service is for business use only. Consumer use is not supported.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
  • Process or store sensitive personal data (e.g., health data, financial account numbers, government IDs) in Slack channels monitored by DeskPilot.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service.
  • Use the Service in a manner that could harm, disable, or impair it for other users.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

4. Subscription and Pricing

DeskPilot is offered as a monthly subscription. Current plans:

Plan Price Includes
Starter $29 / month Up to 500 tickets/mo, 1 Slack workspace, basic analytics
Professional $99 / month Unlimited tickets, 3 Slack workspaces, advanced analytics, priority support

Prices are in USD and are charged monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as stated in Section 6 below. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to the email address on file.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry for up to 7 days before suspending your account. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing deskpilot-8@polsia.app.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.
  • If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription and have not actively processed more than 100 tickets, we will issue a full refund upon request.
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms without refund.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, service interruptions, or delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (force majeure, third-party service outages, etc.).

8. Data and Privacy

Our handling of your workspace data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary:

  • You retain ownership of your Slack data.
  • You grant DeskPilot a limited license to access and process your Slack data solely to provide the Service.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
  • All workspace data is deleted within 30 days of account termination.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, algorithms, designs, and documentation comprising the DeskPilot Service are our exclusive property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

Knowledge base entries derived from your workspace data remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use them solely to operate the Service for your workspace.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT AUTO-RESOLVED RESPONSES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
  • IN NO EVENT SHALL DESKPILOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeskPilot and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party rights; or (c) your workspace data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
